This page is a listing of diverse material, only some of it postal, that was likely produced between June 1877 and May 1878. The status and dating of some of it is unknown. Certain oil-printings on European laid paper, for examples, may have been paper trials of the year in question. Or they could be Jammu reprints (that is, non-postals produced after the advent of the New Rectangular plates in May 1878 but before the permanent removal of the plates to Srinagar in the spring of 1881). They might even be even be post-1881 Srinagar reprints. Or something else again, perhaps very late and even more spurious.

Symbols: The implements are accorded letter tags: A, B, C for the three circular dies, D is the ½a Kashmir single die, EF for the two parts of the First Kashmir Plate, GH for the two parts of the Visitors’ plate, I is the Iron-mine Seal, J is the Jammu plate, K and L for the 4a and 8a dies.
